After a bad third quarter verses Xavier in week three, the Mustangs have won six straight to end the regular season 7-2. The team re-dedicated itself after that game and have looked sharp during this impressive winning six week run. Improved overall depth has been a major reason for the excellent play. The defense has been getting better every week and is led by Jay Gonzales (75), Mitch Berendes (51) and Gage Heffernan (26). The offense is continuing to be consistent and is led by Cody Leach (4), Brad Duwe (5) and Adam Kennedy (54). The kicking game is anchored by Kyle Wiest (34) and long snapper Chad Crabill (28).
